FLEXUS CORE 100/200 - IR Integration (Requirements)

A few things must be done for IR to work on the FLEXUS CORE 100/200.

To enable IR, you must set the product to Installer mode. Instructions here:

Firmware must be minimum version 1.2.3.

If FW needs to be updated:

• You will use the USB-C port on the back of the CORE 100/200 soundbar. 
• The USB drive MUST be formatted as FAT32 (ExFat is not supported by the bar firmware).

Latest FWs are attached (1.3.2). Update procedure:

1. Copy the bin file into the root directory of the USB thumb drive.
2. Power on the soundbar.
3. Plug the USB thumb drive into USB port
4. Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds.
5. “UPDATING” string will be shown on LED display.
6. Wait for firmware update and automatic restart to complete.

NOTE: The bar cannot take updates from the USB-A port. You must use the USB-C port on the back. You will need to have a USB-C flash drive or a USB-A drive connected with a USB-A Female to USB-C Male adapter.
