Flexus 300 - Dirac Calibration (App)
Dirac can be configured two ways, either through the Klipsch Connect Plus app(available on iOS/Android, or the the Dirac Live PC/Mac App.
For most users, we recommend using the Klipsch Connect Plus app. Klipsch engineers have optimized the user experience and made setup very quick and easy. For advanced users, you can download Dirac Live from the Dirac website.
Option 1 – Fast Setup through the Klipsch Connect Plus app
- Download and Install the Klipsch Connect Plus app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store
- Open the app and follow the prompts to setup the Core 300. The Core 300 will be connected to your wifi network in this process, as well as undergo any firmware updates.
To start the Dirac Calibration, select “Dirac Live” under the Audio Adjustments menu.
Make sure the room is extremely quiet during the calibration process. We recommend turning off any devices that can produce noise in the room for the duration of the process(including AC/furnace and fridge). The microphone is extremely sensitive, the calibration may not complete if sufficient external noise is interfering with it.
4. Select the “Create New” button
5. Connect the calibration microphone supplied with your bar
6. The system will take measurements from 3 different microphone positions. To start calibration press Continue.
7. Place the microphone in the first position and press Begin.
8. The system will play sounds from each speaker and you will see this progress screen on your device - during this time, make sure there is no additional noise in the room.
9. If calibrated successfully press Continue to move forward to the next position.
10. Setup the mic in the second position and press continue. The calibration process will repeat and sound will play from all of the speakers in the array again.
11. Complete the 3 rd position calibration the same way the first two were completed after placing the microphone in a new location.
12. After all three measurements are complete you can press continue and save them as a preset.
