Reference Wireless - Troubleshooting the Axiim LINK
Below, you will find some common issues and possible solutions when using the Axiim LINK with the Reference Wireless system. If you need assistance with updating the firmware on your LG TV, you can find the steps at the bottom of this article as well.
- The Axiim LINK mobile app is not communicating with your Axiim LINK
- Solution: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. The mobile application communicates with your Axiim LINK using a Bluetooth connection.
- Solution: Make sure the Axiim LINK is securely connected to the source device with the
included USB cable. - Solution: Make sure the Axiim LINK is in close proximity to the mobile device (within 20-30ft)
- All of your speakers are not discovered
- Solution: Make sure all of the speakers are securely plugged into a wall outlet.
- Solution: Make sure each speaker is in “Pairing Mode”.
- Note: To put the speaker in pairing mode, press and hold the reset button on the back of the speaker for approximately 5 seconds. Speakers will emit a flashing light when the speaker is in pairing mode and will turn solid once connected/paired.

- No audio or USB Connection/Security/Audio status on mobile app’s Settings page is “No”
- Solution: Verify that you have selected the correct “Audio Mode”; Xbox Audio for Xbox One, USB Audio for Windows 10 and Mac, and WiSA Ready for LG TVs
- Solution: Power cycle the source device
- Xbox - Long press the Xbox button, then select “Restart console”
- LG TV - Press the power button on the remote or TV
- Windows 10 or Mac - Reboot the computer
- LINK is not discovered by my 2019-2020 LG OLED and NanoCell TV
- Solution: Check the USB connection to the LINK to ensure the cable is securely plugged
into the TV and the LINK - Solution: Make sure your LINK is configured in WiSA ready mode (see Device Mode sec.)
- Solution: Make sure your LG TV is on firmware version is 03.60.02 or later
- Solution: Check the USB connection to the LINK to ensure the cable is securely plugged
