Important Notes: All WiSA wireless home theater speakers are compatible with each other. Meaning, components from our more recent Reference Wireless System can be used with previous-generation HD Wireless components as well. You may use Reference Wireless speakers with the HD Wireless Control Center, or HD Wireless speakers with the Axiim LINK USB Transmitter (from the Reference Wireless systems).

However, with that said, you may want to be careful mixing HD Wireless speakers with Reference Wireless speakers. This is due to the difference in tweeter/woofer material. The Reference Wireless speakers have IMG woofers with Aluminum tweeters, while the HD Wireless speakers have Cerametallic woofers and Titanium tweeters. The difference in materials would not provide optimal sound-matching; it may make some speakers in your system sound different than others. For the best experience, it is recommended to stay in the same series for the speaker portion of these systems.
