If you want to use the TV remote to control the sound bar, you can program the sound bar to take certain commands from your TV remote. You can program the volume up, volume down, and power commands. Below, you will find the steps on how to program your TV remote to your Cinema 600 soundbar.
ATTENTION: These steps must be performed with a TV remote, not a cable (AT&T, DirecTV, Xfinity etc.) remote. For those remote codes, check here - Cinema 600 - Remote Control Codes
Note: To program Volume Down and Power buttons repeat the steps shown and replace steps 3 and 5 with the button you want to program.
- Press and hold the source and volume down button for 3 seconds.
- Once the source light is flashing, press the volume up button on the soundbar to program the volume up command.
- Note: The picture above shows the "Volume Up" being pressed so that it can be programmed. To program additional functions, press the button that corresponds with that function. For example, to program volume down, press the "Volume Down" button (on the sound bar) during this step.

- The source light will turn off.
- Making sure the remote is within 12 inches from the sound bar, press the volume up button once on the TV remote you are programming to the sound bar.
- The picture above shows the "Volume Up" being pressed so that it can be programmed. To program additional functions, press the button that corresponds with that function. For example, to program volume down, press the "Volume Down" button (on the TV remote) during this step.

- The source light will now flash three times and turn solid, indicating the programming was successful.
