R-4B II - TV Remote Programming
Below, you will find the steps on how to program your TV remote to your R-4B II sound bar. Please note, these steps must be performed with a TV remote, not a cable (AT&T, DirecTV, Xfinity etc.) remote.
- Press and hold the "Mute" button on the front of the sound bar for 3 seconds
- The source that the bar is currently on will start flashing, indicating it is in remote programming mode
- On the front of the sound bar, press the button you wish to program once.
- Note: The picture above shows the "Volume Up" being pressed so that it can be programmed. To program additional functions, press the button that corresponds with that function. For example, to program volume down, press the "Volume Down" button (on the sound bar) during this step.
- Note: The picture above shows the "Volume Up" being pressed so that it can be programmed. To program additional functions, press the button that corresponds with that function. For example, to program volume down, press the "Volume Down" button (on the sound bar) during this step.
- On the front of the sound bar, the LED light showing the source will shut off
- On the TV remote you are programming to the sound bar, press the button you wish to program once. Make sure that the remote is pointing directly at the sound bar within 12 inches.
- Note: The picture above shows the "Volume Up" being pressed so that it can be programmed. To program additional functions, press the button that corresponds with that function. For example, to program volume down, press the "Volume Down" button (on the TV remote) during this step.
- Note: The picture above shows the "Volume Up" being pressed so that it can be programmed. To program additional functions, press the button that corresponds with that function. For example, to program volume down, press the "Volume Down" button (on the TV remote) during this step.
- The LED light showing the current source will flash three times and then turn solid to indicate a successful programming
