Cinema 700 - Decoding and Playback Modes
The Cinema 700 features several decoders and playback modes to bring you an extremely high quality sound bar experience.
Incoming Digital Audio Signals the Cinema 700 Will Decode:
- PCM
- LPCM Up to 8 Channels
- AC3 (Dolby 2.0, Dolby 5.1, Dolby 7.1, Etc.)
- EAC3 (Dolby 2.0, Dolby 5.1, Dolby 7.1, Etc.)
- Dolby TrueHD
- Dolby Atmos
Playback Modes, Definitions and Recommended Use Cases:
- Standard Mode - Atmos mixed to 5.1.4
- Recommended For: Everyday listening for music, movies and TV shows.
- Direct Mode - Output format same as source format, up to 5.1.4. Any format exceeding a 5.1.4 signal will downmix to 5.1.4.
- Recommended For: “Artist intent” playback of movies and TV shows, stereo (2-Channel)
music playback.

- Movie Mode - Atmos mixed to 5.1.4
- Recommended For: Immersive, optimized listening experience for movies
- Music Mode - Atmos mixed to 5.1.4
- Recommended For: Immersive, optimized listening experience for music
- Game Mode - Atmos mixed to 5.1.4
- Recommended For: Immersive optimized listening experience for gaming
- Party Mode - Mixes audio to "All Channel Stereo".
- Speaker Channel assignments in Party Mode:
- Left = Left
- Right = Right
- Center = Left + Right
- Left Surround = Left
- Right Surround = Right
- Recommended For: Background/party music from all speakers
