Cinema 800 - Connecting to Network via Ethernet
The Cinema 800 features network capabilities to bring you wireless connectivity to select services/devices. Please see below for steps on how to connect your sound bar to your network via an ethernet cable.
To connect your Cinema 800 sound bar to your network via ethernet, simply plug an ethernet cable (not included) into both your sound bar and internet router (or router/modem combo).
One end will be plugged into an ethernet port on the router, the other end will be plugged into the "LAN" port on the back of the sound bar
As a visual reference, here is a stock photo of an ethernet cable being plugged into an ethernet port on an internet router
When the sound bar detects an ethernet cable being plugged into the LAN port, you will see the front display screen automatically advise 'NETWORK CONNECTED'
Please note that removing the ethernet cable from the LAN port on the sound bar will cause the bar to disconnect from the network entirely. You will also see the front display screen advise 'NETWORK NOT CONNECTED/NETWORK ERROR' to indicate the disconnection.
For steps on connecting the bar to Wi-Fi via the WPS button on your router, please see our article - Cinema 800 - Connecting to Network via WPS
