RSB Soundbar Has No Sound When Connected via HDMI (Troubleshooting)
The RSB Series soundbars feature a CEC functionality that can be manually enabled/disabled. If you are connecting the RSB soundbar to a TV via HDMI, you will need to make sure that this CEC function is enabled on the bar. If the CEC is not enabled, the soundbar will likely not output any audio at all. You may also notice the "TV" source light on the front display of the bar blinking and then disappearing.
- Plug in and power on the soundbar
- To enable the CEC, press and simultaneously hold the source and volume down buttons on the front of the soundbar for 3 seconds
- To indicate that the CEC is enabled, the source on the front display of the bar will blink twice
- To indicate that the CEC is disabled, the source on the front display of the bar will blink three times
