How to Disable the Auto On/Off for RSB Series Sound bars

Some of our sound bar models have an operation mode called "Installer Mode". Engaging this "Installer Mode" will completely disable the Auto On/Off functionality of the bar. This can be a desired feature for customers who would rather manually power the sound bar on and off with each use.

THESE STEPS WILL WORK WITH ALL "RSB" SERIES SOUND BARS:

Unplug AC power from the sound bar and then plug it back in. Turn on the sound bar. Within 10 seconds, press and hold the source and volume up buttons simultaneously for >5 seconds to engage Demo Select mode.

While in Demo Select Mode, press the volume + button to cycle through the display LEDs on the front of the bar. Press the Volume + button until the desired display LED is flashing.

Allow the desired LED to flash for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, the unit automatically exits demo select mode and remains in the mode you selected. For instance, leave the bar flashing on the TV LED (RSB-6, 8, 11, 14) or the Dolby LED (RSB-3) to engage Installer Mode.

RSB-6, RSB-8, RSB-11, & RSB-14
HDMI1 LED will fast blink
Analog LED will fast blink 
Digital LED will fast blink 
**TV LED (or HDMI 2) will fast blink to indicate Installer Mode**

Please note: The same steps can  be performed for the RSB-3 sound bar. However, the display LEDs will be slightly different:

RSB-3
Surround LED will fast blink
Analog LED will fast blink
Digital LED will fast blink
"Dolby Logo" LED will fast blink to indicate Installer Mode
