the only difference is the usb it does not above 8gb but the smallest i can buy is 32

now on putting in the usb it closses down every light instantly 

then nothing it does not come back on in 3 seconds  it took about 5 minutes then all came back 

 removed the usb and nothing changed 

double checked the serial number three times  

down loaded the file twice 

some explain how i can up grade this unit 

the sub woofer is way way low in voulume

  Firmware Installation

   

  1. Download the latest firmware update file by going to klipsch.com/firmware and choosing Bar 48 from the "AVAILABLE FIRMWARE UPDATES" drop-down menu
  2. Enter in your soundbar's serial number (found on the back of the soundbar or subwoofer)
  3. Download and save the file folder to your desktop
  4. Unzip the file folder and move the “app.bin” file to an empty USB flash drive that is formatted to FAT32 and is 8GB or less in size
  5. Power on the sound bar with a short press of the power button on the sound bar
  6. Ensure your wireless subwoofer is paired to the sound bar (LED on back of subwoofer will be solid)

  7. If you have Surround 3 wireless surrounds, ensure they are paired to the sound bar (LED on back of each surround will be solid)

  8. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the back of the sound bar
  9. Hold down the power button on the top of the sound bar until the source LED on the top and front of the sound bar shuts off
  10. Wait about 3 seconds until the DTS LED lights up
  11. The DTS > DOLBY > ((SUR)) > DIALOG > NIGHT LED’s will light up as the firmware update progresses
  12. Once all of the mode LED’s are lit, wait about 3 seconds and the sound bar will restart
  13. Once the sound bar restarts, the source LED on the top and front of the sound bar will be orange You should also see 3 white volume LED’s on the front of the sound bar to indicate the update is complete
  14. Unplug the USB flash drive from the back of the sound bar
  15. The firmware update has been completed successfully
  16. The subwoofer (and surrounds if applicable) will reconnect after the sound bar restarts
