Installing the Connect Plus app on your smartphone unleashes the option to adjust several features of your speakers - as seen below:
Firmware updates can be checked for and applied to your speakers, by selecting the "Update" option (seen below) in the General Settings tab of the app:
Auto Power mode: By default, the Fives II will enter an auto-off/standby state after 15 minutes of no signal. In this state, the speakers will wake automatically once they receive a signal from your computer. If you prefer to keep the speakers on all the time, the auto-off mode can be disabled within the app.
Equalizer: Choose from professionally tuned EQ presets to enhance your experience in any game or media. For a neutral sound profile, select the "Flat" setting.
Each of the 5 EQ bands are personally customizable (which are saved to a custom profile). Your selection will be remembered automatically.
Audio Adjustments are seen below. There are several features under this submenu:
Sound Mode - Choose a sound mode that best fits your content. Each mode adjusts the internal digital signal processing of the Fives II to enhance your experience. Direct mode is the most neutral option.
Dynamic Bass - This option applies loudness correction to automatically adjust low frequency levels as volume changes. Increased bass at lower levels. (With this setting turned on we recommend increasing the volume of the source input to maximum.)
Dialog Mode - Enabling this option enhances the DSP to increase the presence of dialog in films/TV shows.
Night Mode - This option reduces low end 'bass' and subwoofer (if connected) output by 50%.
Volume adjustment and source input change in the app can be seen (below):
LED brightness of the Fives II can also be adjusted within the app (seen below):
