The Fives II - Optical Connection

The Fives II have a Digital optical (Toslink) input to allow you to connect devices like - TV's, CD players, Network streamers. 

Connect your audio source to the optical input shown below. 

Note, optical cables are often sold with protective caps over the tip ends of the cable connectors, make sure to remove them before inserting into the speaker/audio source. 

When connecting to a TV, most commonly you would need to set the audio output to Digital Optical in the TV's Audio settings. 

Tip: When the optical signal is being sent - you should be able to see red light coming out of the end of the cable if pulled out from the speaker.
