ProMedia 2.1 Lumina - Setup and Power
In this section, we'll be covering how to connect the satellite speakers to the subwoofer. We'll also cover how to turn the system on, so you can enjoy that great ProMedia sound!
After unboxing your ProMedia 2.1 Lumina system, you will want to place the satellite speakers and subwoofer in their desired locations.
Connect each satellite speaker to the back of the subwoofer by plugging each speaker's plug connector into its corresponding spot on the back of the subwoofer.
Note: the left and right satellite speakers will have their own specific left/right connection port on the back of the subwoofer. You'll find an L (left) and R (right) icon on the bottom of the back of each satellite speaker. Additionally, the ports which the speakers plug into on the back of the subwoofer are color coded: black for the left satellite speaker and blue for the right satellite speaker.
To turn the system on, simply tap any button on the right satellite speaker. The LED will then illuminate on the front of the right satellite speaker, indicating that the speakers are now ready to play.
To turn the system off, hold the multifunction button down for 5 seconds (pictured above). The multifunction button is located on top of the right satellite speaker.
Note: by default, the system will switch to an auto-off/standby state after 15 minutes of no signal. In this state, the speakers will wake automatically once they receive signal from your computer. The auto-off mode can optionally be disabled within the Klipsch Connect Plus smartphone app.
