I purchased "Klipsch Reference Theater Pack 5.1 Channel Surround Sound System" from Costco, my receiver is Onkyo TX-NR656 and it's 7.2 channel. Is this receiver enough for the sound system I purchased?

  Bala,

  Thank you for your post. The Reference Theater Pack 5.1 has an RMS of 50W per channel into 8 ohms for the satellites and 75W per channel into 8 ohms for the center channel. The Onkyo TX-NR696 produces 100W per channel into 8 ohms. This receiver will work very well with the Theater pack! you will even have a little bit of extra power for headroom, meaning you will not have to turn up the volume very loud on the receiver to get crystal clear sound.
