Cinema 600 Remote light stays on all the time?

Hello, My Remote control light stays on and is wearing out batteries. Is there a way to shut that off or is this remote defective?

  The Cinema series remotes have a very sensitive motion sensor that will turn on the LED's on the remote whenever vibration or movement is detected. Unfortunately, there is not a way to disable this function. However, to minimize the remote sensor triggering, we recommend placing it on a side table or surface that does not get bumped or used as often. 

  However, if the remote LED never turns off, even when no motion or vibration is detected, it is possible that the remote is defective. If so, please reach out to Klipsch Product Support to obtain a replacement - https://support.klipsch.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024356652
