Surround Sound System for a Dummy
AnsweredHey, everybody. I pre-wired my home for a theater 20+ years ago and just now getting around to it. I've seen a couple good 5.1 speaker sets from Klipsch but I assume they do not come with the DSP. What is the lowest profile, easiest solution for this please? Thanks.

Let the sound processing come from your AVR. You really don't need DSP in bed or surround speakers. However DSP in subwoofers can be a benefit. For example the Denon AVR's have Audyssey room correction. Some SVS subwoofers come with DSP built-in etc. etc. That is your best bet.
