KG4 Crossover replacement/upgrade

Hello. I'm Joe. I have a set of KG4 speakers bought in 1986. They have been my main speakers that I have owned & enjoyed for most of my life. I'm getting ready to upgrade my surround receiver & was speaking to an audiofile friend. My friend, being familiar with my old speakers, mentioned that after 20 yrs or so, electrolytic capacitors can fail. I've seen alot online about upgrading crossovers & that it can really enhance the speakers performance. I like good sound but I'm not a true audiofile. The speakers seem fine but they have the original unmodified crossovers. I'm open to an upgrade for a reasonable price. Any general advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
