Will R-40SA Atmos speakers add much?

Im going to buy a new Pioneer Elite VSX-LX505 9.2 to replace my Pioneer Elite VSX-32 7.1 to get 9.2 channel, streaming with the receiver, and boost the power from 100W per to 120W.

My question is with 2 Chorus IIs as mains & 2 Quartets as wides, will the R-40SAs add much? I'm guessing they should sit on top of the Chorus IIs?

I have a RW 12d  powered sub woofer, a RC 52 II Center channel, 2 RB 61 II for Surround speakers, and 2 B200s as Rear surround speakers to complete the 9.1 system.

  Hi Mark, 

  The R-40sa could be beneficial in your setup if they are used as Atmos channels. They could work placed on top of your main speakers if your ceilings are flat and are less than 9ft tall. They can also be mounted on the wall pointed downwards.
