Bluetooth will not connect on my new The One with Google assistant

I just received my new The One with Google Voice Assistant.  It will not connect to Bluetooth.  I have performed a factory reset, unplugged it a few times, restarted my phone a few times.  It even shows up on my phone, I select it... but then it never completes the BT connection.  Any suggestions?  thanks, Jim

  Hi Jim, setup the speaker on google home network first. Then make sure to set the speaker into pairing mode - press and hold the BT button for 3 seconds. Thanks!
