What can I do if my Cinema 1200 is unresponsive?

If after attempting the firmware update for the Cinema 1200 soundbar, the bar becomes unresponsive or "bricked", follow these steps the re-flash the MCU firmware file onto the bar.
USB Flash Drive Formatting Instructions
You will need to format the flash drive before your product can read from it. If you already know how to format a flash drive for FAT32, feel free to skip this step.
IMPORTANT: Use a flash drive that doesn’t store any important information. This process will wipe the contents of the drive.
Re-Flash MCU Firmware
Delete all existing files from a USB flash drive.
- Make sure drive is 8GB or less and formatted to FAT32
- Preferably, use a USB 2.0 drive.
Follow the link below to download the MCU Zip file to a flash drive. It’s best if it’s one you’ve used for firmware updates before.
- Unzip the firmware file and copy the file titled “.bin” onto empty USB 2.0 flash drive.
- NOTE: For Mac or iOS users, you may need to install a secondary program to unzip the folder.
- Make sure the contents of the MCU archive are the ONLY files on the drive.
Unplug the bar.
Plug the thumb drive into the USB port on the right side.
While holding the Power button on the bar, plug in the power cable, and wait three seconds.
Let go of the Power button and wait 1-3 minutes. The display should start working.
If after 3 minutes the display doesn’t work, unplug the bar and the USB drive, then power it back on and see if it works.
